Kit and other info:

This is a Winter Ultra Event – All entrants are advised to wear appropriate clothing for winter conditions and required to carry full body waterproof cover, map (see below), headtorch & spare batteries, compass, whistle, mug and fully-charged mobile phone. Appropriate footwear (fell/trail) MUST be worn.

A map of route OS 1:25k will be provided but OL21 is also recommended.

This is a tough challenge event with some navigational ability required and an amount of climbing, therefore not suitable for beginners.

Any entrant considered to be under prepared will, at the event organisers discretion, not be allowed to start and will be withdrawn from the event without refund. All entrants enter at their own risk.

There are road crossings – please treat with great care and pay attention to the highway warning signs on the approach to these crossings.

Please obey the Countryside Code. Ensure that all gates are left in the state they were in when you arrived. Please respect the landowners and their property. Recceing of the course is recommended but please follow the footpaths and do not cut over private land.

Avoid dropping ANY litter on course please – bin bags will be provided at checkpoints. No smoking on course.

The route may be subject to some minor changes.

Entrants must be at least 18 years of age on the day. Dogs are not allowed on this event.

A donation from the event will also be made to local charitable causes.
